Deepika Padukone’s much-awaited film 'Gehraiyaan' was released on Amazon Prime this Friday and the film has managed to receive accolades and praises from both the viewers and film fraternity. While many lauded Deepika’s brilliant stint saying she has delivered her best performance, a certain section seemed unhappy and called Shakun Batra’s directorial a ‘horrifying bad film’. And, it looks like Kangana Ranaut too feels that the film is ‘bad’, suggest her latest Instagram post. Taking to her Instagram story, Kangana shared a video clip of the popular song, ‘Chand Si Mehbooba’ alongside side a note that read, “I am also a millennial but I identify and understand this kind of romance....in the name of millennial/ new age/ urban movies don't sell trash pls...bad movies are bad movies no amount of skin show or pornography can save it...it's a basic fact koi gehraiyaan wali baat Nahi hai.”
Well, we wonder whether the post is aimed at Deepika’s film? Known for her bold and outspoken personality, The Tanu Weds Manu actress often finds herself engaging in some of the other online debates. Not just this, she often makes headlines for lashing out at Bollywood celebrities.
Not to forget, a few days ago Kangana during a press conference of her new reality show ‘Lock Upp’ got into a heated argument with a journalist for asking her about Deepika Padukone’s feud with the influencer Freddy Birdy. While slamming the journalist, Kangana had said, “Look, I am here to defend those who can’t defend themselves. Alright? She can defend herself. She has the privilege, the platform and I can’t promote her film here. Sit down.”
